HDG (Hot-Dipped Galvanized Square-Tube Stack Racks)

This type of hot dipped galvanized stack racks was finished last week and will be shipped this week to Pakistan. This racks will be used outdoor because ti has strong ability to resist rust. Hot dipped galvanizing will offer steel pallet racks coat with thickness of from 60-300 g/m2.

Firstly steel pallet racks are welded in workshop. Then half-finished stack pallet racks will go through sand blasting machine to remove rust of stack racks. After surface preparation, the steel is dipped in the molten (830 F) bath of at least 98% zinc. The steel is lowered into the kettle at an angle that allows air to escape from tubular shapes or other pockets, and the zinc to flow into, over, and through the entire piece. While immersed in the kettle, the iron in the steel metallurgically reacts with the zinc to form a series of zinc-iron intermetallic layers and an outer layer of pure zinc.

Unlike the most popular hot dipped galvanized stack pallet racks which are made of U-shaped steel and round steel tube, they are made of rectangular steel tubes. The base frames are 50*50 tubes, ribs are 50*30 tubes, feet are 60*60 tubes and posts are 50*50 tubes. And on upper posts, there are four bracers made of 25*25 tubes. The bracers are used to make sure four posts straight up, in this way it will be easier to stack another steel pallet on four posts.

On post, there is stack bowl. The size is 140*140mm, the height is 50mm. It is welded on post to make it easier for forklift driver to stack steel pallet racks on posts.

In tubes of base frame and ribs, there are several holes. The holes are aimed to let hot air go out of tubes in case that tube exploed and liquid zinc go out of tubes to save cost when hot dipped galvanizing.
