Electro-Galvanized Stack Rack

Firstly let us tell you what is Electro-Galvanizing. It is a way of surface treatment for metal products. Electro-galvanizing can put a small amount of zinc on surface of metal products, only 10-50g/m2. It is a process that uses electrolysis to attach a metal film to the surface of metal or other material parts. The process of forming a uniform, dense, and well-bonded metal layer can prevent corrosion, improve wear resistance, conductivity, reflectivity, and enhance aesthetics.

Galvanized stack rack

Honestly speaking, we usually do Electro-galvanized stack racks by two ways: the first one is welding before Electro-galvanizing, the other one is welding after Electro-galvanizing. The first one is that we cut and fold raw materials without any surface treatment which has some rust on their surface, then we fix them together by welding, finally we put them in pool for Electro-galvanizing. Don’t worry before Electro-galvanizing, we will get rid of rust from surface. The second one is that we buy material which has been Electro-galvanized, we cut, fold and weld to put everything together, the last step is painting on the welded point to make the outlook of stack racks beautiful and shining without any flaw.

Comparing with the two ways, the Electro-galvanized first product will be cheaper than welding first product. Because Electro-galvanizing first can save time and costs for transition of stack racks. That’s how we build price edge, but we will tell you directly how we do and what is the difference. Maybe you don’t care about the process, it is the performance difference they have that you care, right. I can tell you that the anti-rust ability for both way has little difference. Electro-galvanizing is usually applied to products which will be used indoor and the environment is not that wet. In this situation, painting and Electro-galvanizing both work. So which way do you prefer?
