Steel Pallets With Big Size For Grain Storage

The steel pallets above have some features in common: (1) with big size; (2) with heavy load dynamic load capacity and static load capacity. They are all for grain storage, it is more specific that they are for heavy goods in sacks in the way the below picture shows.

This way maybe the most economical way to store goods in sacks. Nowadays, the land is more expensive than ever. How to store more goods with limited area? Yes, we stack goods higher and higher. The highest racking system could be more than 20 meters. But not every company has money to build high warehouse racking system. For normal warehouse, the best way to maximize space usage of warehouse is also make goods stacked higher. Brilliant people think of good way to store goods in sacks. For example, grains in sacks are so soft that we can make them in any shape. The sacks are placed on steel pallet layer by layer. There is no need to make the top of sacks flat and even, because when we place another steel pallet loaded with sacks on them, the top will be flat and even. Afterwards, the third steel pallet and the fourth steel pallet can be stacked up. The storage process is over. When you plan to take and use goods, just drive forklift to take the top steel pallet down.

Let’s go back to the two features. Firstly the size will be much bigger than normal pallet. The normal pallet has size of 1200*1000mm, 800*1200mm, or else. But for this type of steel pallet, to make the whole pile steady, the steel pallet better has bigger size to put more sacks on the first layer. The popular size is 2000*1500mm. The second one is big static load capacity and dynamic load capacity. Because the grains sacks are heavy, a pile of them are much load. Usually the static load capacity can go 7000kg, while the dynamic load capacity goes up to 3500kg.
