This week, we completed and shipped the mezzanine floor for a Italian client, and they are our new customer, total need 20 sets mezzanine platform for same size warehouses. At first stage, gave us one set sample order.
The customer was not familiar with the mezzanine floor, and just told us they need it, even do not know the specific size. After asking them for the warehouse length, width, height, and storage needs, we recommended the suitable size and loading capacity mezzanine floor for them. Of course, during the designing, we kept enough space for aisle and forklift operation. Finally,we decided that the dimensions of the mezzanine floor were 16*10m*3m, which equipped with protectors,loading door and staircase, loading capacity were 300kg per sqm.
Then, our technical department sent mezzanine layout and vertical drawing to customer for confirmation,they were very satisfied with our designing. After discussing the price and delivery time, they gave us this sample order. The column was made of 160*160 square tube, main beam material were H shape steel, and the floor thickness was 2.0mm, which could well meet the clients’ storage requirement. As for the color, they chose the blue and light duty grey.
Mezzanine floor is also a hot selling product in our factory, and we have rich production experience for it. In general, the size of each mezzanine platform is almost different, due to the different warehouse size. And it can greatly improve the warehouse height direction utilization. There are two types of mezzanine floor, medium duty one, capacity regularly 200-300kg per sqm. And for heavy duty type, loading capacity even can reach 1000kg per sqm. In this suitation, sub beam also uses H shape steel material.
