Metal Waste Bin is included in our business range. This heavy duty waste bin is produced especially for metal waste, for example steel sheet waste, steel tube waste.
The size of this metal waste bin is Length 2200mm, depth 1800mm, height 1040mm. The load capacity is 8 – 10 tons. The material is Q235b steel. Surface treatment is powder coating, two layers of powder coat to make sure that the steel is always covered to be anti-rust. The frame of metal waste bin is made of 100*50mm steel, thickness is 5.0mm. The thickness of panels welded inside is 5.0mm. At one end of long side (2200mm), it has 8# channel steel as gate rail. One short side is designed as gate to allow waste go out of bin. On gate and two long sides, there are two lifting lugs welding with them. Because 8 – 10 tons are too heavy for normal forklift, usually metal products factories uses overhead crane to lift this heavy thing. Thick ropes will go through the holes of lifting lugs, and then overhead crane lift ropes to move this big bin to dumping area. When dumping waste in bin, firstly overhead crane lift gate by rope and leave gate by side, and then overhead lift up the end without gate only by rope, the waste will slide onto ground because of gravity.
This metal waste bin is too heavy for forklift. We can also do smaller and lighter ones for forklift. There will be fork entry under base frame. Lifting lugs can also be remained so the metal waste bin can be moved by both forklift and overhead crane. For lighter model (for example less than 300kg load capacity), client will ask us to add wheels under base frame, the bin can be just moved by hand.
