Heavy duty pallet racking is one of our most important products and is our regular products. So how is it usually installed? Today, let me explain the general installation process in detail. Heavy duty pallet racking is generally easy to install, just the installation of the frame takes some time. We usually provide customers with detailed installation instructions.
The first step is to install the frame. First, take two columns and lay them down on flat ground. Then, take out the horizontal brace to connect the two columns. One end of the horizontal brace is directly connected to the column, usually equipped with a black plastic block or steel tube. The other end is usually connected to the diagonal brace and fixed with M10*65 bolts. Install the bolts first and do not tighten them. After all the horizontal and diagonal braces are installed, tighten the bolts of the whole frame.
After one of the horizontal brace is installed, then install the diagonal bracers. The number of diagonal braces are regularly different and often depending on the racking height, width. And the number of horizontal braces is fixed at two, one at the top and one at the bottom. After the diagonal braces are installed, finally install another horizontal bracer. Once these are installed, tighten the bolts. We generally recommend that customers install all frames before installing the crossbeams.
Heavy duty pallet racking is usually equipped with footplate because they need to be connected to the ground to enhance the load-bearing capacity. There are usually two types of feet: welded feet and movable feet. If it is a welded foot, no additional installation is required. If it is a movable foot, the foot needs to be installed after the column is installed. The foot and column are usually fixed with M10*25 bolts.
The installation of the crossbeam is relatively simple. Just erect two frames, then hang the claws of the crossbeam directly into the holes of the columns, and then insert the safety pin.
