2-layer beams, 3-layer product, 6 meters high

2-tier crossbeam racking: This rack has two tiers (i.e., two pairs) of crossbeams. Crossbeams are horizontal components used to directly support pallets.3-tier racking: This racking provides three effective storage levels (including the ground level). For a standard crossbeam rack, the number of storage levels is calculated as the number of crossbeam levels + 1 (ground level). So, a 6-meter-high rack with two crossbeams typically has the following structure:

pallet rack

1. Total Height: Approximately 6000mm
2. Number of Storage Tiers: 3
· 1st Tier (Ground Tier): Goods are placed directly on pallets on the ground, with rack crossbars providing safety.
· 2nd Tier (Middle Tier): Supported by the first-tier crossbars and pallet supports (such as shelf boards or pallet racks).
· 3rd Tier (Top Tier): Supported by the second (highest) tier crossbars and pallet supports. 3. Tier Height (Floor Height):
· This will depend on the size (especially the height) of the goods you’re storing. Assuming standard forklifts are used and the goods are of uniform height, a typical allocation is as follows:
· Tier 1 Height (ground to first-tier beam): Approximately 1900-2200mm (to allow forklift clearance for lifting and moving goods).
· Tier 2 Height (first-tier beam to second-tier beam): Approximately 1900-2000mm
· Tier 3 (top) and above: The remaining height, approximately 2000-2200mm, is used for goods storage and to provide overhead safety clearance. 4. Depth (In-Line): Typically the standard pallet depth, such as 1000mm (for 1m/1.2m pallets) or 1200mm (for 1.2m/1.2m pallets).
5. Width (Span): Typically 2700mm or 3300mm, allowing two or three standard pallets (each approximately 1m-1.2m wide) to be placed side by side.

Columns: These are the vertical frames of the rack, standing 6 meters tall, and provide the main support for the rack.Beams: These are two-tiered beams suspended from the columns and used to support pallets.Storage Area: These have three levels, including the ground level.Safety Headroom: A safe distance must be maintained between the top shelf and the roof.
